Light of the World, a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1993, is an interdenominational Christian organization, evangelical in stance, international in scope and made up of men and women from all walks of life and all denominations who share a common vision and desire...to change the world around them. Through Christ-centered alliances with people in the diverse arenas of ministry, business, entertainment and education, our mission is to serve as a catalyst, strategically bringing the thinkers and opinion-makers of the world together with the objective of helping the local church and other organizations fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20) in this generation.

Our Focus is to communicate hope in Jesus Christ with integrity and creativity and to empower God's people, especially emerging younger leaders, for this task by (1) presenting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to business and professional people, people in the media and entertainment, and to people in the academic community, students as well as teachers, and (2) to encourage and train these influential leaders to wisely leverage both their status and material abundance, investing them in reaching all people, the affluent and the needy, here at home and around the world. In short, to encourage "movers and shakers" to become "salt shakers" (Matthew 5:13) for Jesus Christ.

Believing that God's people have an unprecedented opportunity to seize this moment and make a difference for Jesus Christ, Light Of The World is a purpose-driven organization operating under a divine mandate. In a world of relative values, confused identities and distorted priorities, influential men and women are encountering God's Word, embracing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and announcing their heritage as His Covenant People. With renewed purpose and with eternity in view, these leaders are investing in meaningful service to God, their families and each other. Consequently, it is our vision to: Partner with the Body of Christ in America and world-wide to develop leaders; Penetrate the business, academic and entertainment arenas; Provide resources that will enable people to experience spiritual leadership; and Practice and model servant leadership which satisfies each generation's preference to see a sermon rather than to simply hear one.
